Time for Paradise: Fall 2004 Social Hour and Evening Themes

Among the highlights of each day at the West Coast Gatherings are the social hour parties and evening events. Just for fun, the social hour parties and evening events have a different theme each day. Gathering attendees are encouraged (but not required) to wear accessories that correspond to the theme for the social hour and evening. While nudity is still the overall rule, "costumes" can range from a simple cap or hat to the outlandish. |

After months of extensive deliberation, the planning committee has announced the following themes for the Fall 2004 West Coast Gathering: Friday, September 17: Madd Hatter - The Madd Hatter has arrived in Paradise, but can't decide what hat to wear! What would you suggest? What hat would your friends say is you? Wear your favorite hat, cap, crown, tiara, bonnet or beanie. If you belong to a local club this would be a great evening to wear your local club cap too. If not, perhaps a cap representing the city or state you are from could be worn. Opening ceremonies and get acquainted activities will highlight the evening. |
| Saturday, September 18: Hooray For Hollywood - Hollywood has provided us a chance to escape to a fantasy life in bygone era or an enchanted place, companionship with a super hero righting wrong, or a life of glamour and romance. Which is your favorite Hollywood movie? Is it a comedy, drama, western or adventure? Who is your favorite star? Wear a hat or other accessories that your favorite star or character might wear, unless, of course, your favorite scene is a nude scene. |

Sunday, September 19: Opening Night at the Opera - The opera has retold many stories of tragedy and of comedy, sometimes views of paradise. It is a great feeling on opening night. What will you wear to the party and to the show? The show is about to begin, and there is no business like show business. Opening ceremonies for the week session and get acquainted activities are planned for the evening. |
| Monday, September 20: Big Man on Campus - Remember those college days? Can you relate to the movie Grease? Were you the football hero? Who was your first romance? Start working on those muscles. Who will be the big man on the CMEN campus tonight? Miss CMEN contest is also planned for this evening, who will win "her" heart? |

Tuesday, September 21: Day at the Dude
Ranch Do you imagine yourself riding the open prairie, workin'
on a railroad or in a boom town saloon? Fancy yourself in the next
City Slickers? Throw on your hat, boots, and other accessories this
evening pardner. Country barbecue, two-step dancing, and line dancing
are among the evening's planned activities. Mr. Buns CMEN and Mr.
Bare Bear CMEN contests are scheduled for the evening. |
| Wednesday, September 22: Glitter & Satin - Who is your favorite actress? What was your favorite roll? Will you dress to express your more feminine side? Perhaps you will find paradise in a luxurious ensemble, in something totally silly, or in the man wearing one.... The Mr. Senior CMEN contest and a special entertainer will highlight the evening with a late night casino to follow. Thursday, September 23: Leather Fantasy - The masculine aroma of men in black leather will fill the air, the music will beat heavy with anticipation. Paradise in the Leather World, Yes Sir! Which is your favorite role? Will tonight be the night of your fantasies? Look your best in your polished motorcycle boots, black leather cap, armband, harness, and other leather accessories. Demonstrations and Mr. Leather CMEN contest scheduled for this afternoon and evening. |

| Friday, September 24: Hawaiian Luau and Leis - The romance, music, and foods from the Pacific island state will transport our fantasies to a tropical paradise this evening. A beckoning drum and a faint Pacific Ocean breeze add to the romance of the evening. Come natively naked or wear a lei for the evening. A luau dinner is planned for this evening, followed by the Mr CMEN contest. Hula anyone? |

Saturday, September 25: Christmas or your favorite holiday in September - Santa and his reindeer cannot stand the cold weather at the North Poll all year around, so they decided to join us in sunny Southern California for the evening. Santa knows who has been naughty and nice! Come as one of Santa's helpers or as an elf. Please bring a gag gift for the exchange which is planned for the social hour.
