Welcome to the Great Natural Adventure:

Welcome to the Tenth West Coast Gathering for gay naturist men, hosted by California Men Enjoying Naturism. We hope you enjoy the seminars, workshops, pool, hikes, shows, dances, other planned activities and camaraderie.

Enjoy all or some of the planned events listed in this program booklet. All events are subject to change in time and/or location. Also, events may be added, deleted, or changed.

Please make sure to attend the Opening Ceremony and Get Acquainted Friday at 8:00 pm. FOR FULL WEEK ATTENDEES, PLEASE ALSO ATTEND ON SUNDAY at 8:00 pm.

CHECK THE BULLETIN BOARD AT THE REGISTRATION TENT. Most events are facilitated, but some are not. You may also post items on the bulletin boards.

Make sure you engage in at least 12 hugs per day or more.

Most workshops are facilitated. Some are not. Many of the massage workshops are facilitated, however, some of the sessions are non-facilitated massage exchanges.

Note to Workshop Presenters: CMEN West Coast Gathering 2005 and all our attendees greatly appreciate your voluntary contributions to this event. PLEASE CHECK THE PROGRAM to see where and when your workshop is Please be on time to your workshop as we are anxiously awaiting your arrival. Every attempt has been made to make sure your workshop is listed properly in this program. If it is not listed or listed at the wrong time, we apologize to you, but please do write it in on the official Registration Tent Schedule, and then let us know, and we will arrange for a time to have it announced. Thanks again for your generous contribution to this event.

Hiking Trails: There are several hiking trails in the local mountain area. Hikes depart from in front of the dining tent most mornings at 10:30 am. See the daily schedule for details.

Pool: The pool is open most morning from 9:00 am to noon, and afternoons from 1:30 pm until 5:00 pm. (please no music at the pool before 10:30 am). Classes and special activities are also scheduled for the pool, see the daily schedule for details. Please always shower before entering the pool so that the pool can remain clean and does not become cloudy with sunblock, lotions, etc...

Social Hours and Meals:

The afternoon social hours at 5:00 pm. are usually attended by all. So, come in your most fabulous costume or just come and enjoy naturally naked. Also, the evening shows are quite popular here at CMEN.

Our social hours will begin this year at the Friday evening social hour party. We would love to know where you hail from – if you brought a cap or visor from your home naturist club or city please plan to wear it to the social hour. We will have get acquainted activities and an orientation during the evening show; please plan on attending these events.

The Food Committee has worked hard once again to provide the best possible meals, enhanced this year by the fabulous Jaime and Company!

Souvenirs:

Souvenir items are available for purchase in the Registration Tent from 9am to 8pm, on the honor system any day during the Gathering. Simply pick out what you need and submit your payments to the lockbox located in the registration tent.-------Or you can fill out a credit card slip anytime during your stay and deposit it in the lockbox located in the Registration Tent. (If you fill out more than one slip during the week, they will be combined together into one transaction when they are put through approximately Sept 30, 2005)

Internet and Telephone Access:

Special free telephone lines: As a courtesy to our guests, CMEN has installed a special direct-dial phone line. This phone is available 24 hours a day for your local and long distance calls. All calls within the USA and Canada are toll-free. International calls from this phone are 30 cents per minute. Please remit this amount to the Registration Tent lockbox. (honor system) Please limit your calls to 5 minutes when others are waiting. DIRECT-DIAL ONLY!!! PLEASE NO DIRECTORY ASSISTANCE CALLS!!!
This is also the phone for CMEN official business and if the phone is needed for a CMEN business matter by a coordinator or committee member, you will be expected to give up the line immediately for that call. Thank you.

Internet Access: Our fabulous CMEN members have donated use of computers. This “internet café” has been set up by the main registration tent. A wireless router is available, and if you have a laptop computer with wireless capability, you may be able to connect through this router. The computer(s) at the café are available 23 hours per day, but please limit your time to 10 minutes when others are waiting. Also, please leave the computers turned ON at all times, do not turn on any screensavers, and please do not change the “home page” of Internet Explorer. See further instructions at the Internet Café. Enjoy.

A Few Reminders:

Nudity is REQUIRED. This is NOT a clothing optional event, weather permitting.
Sarongs ARE clothing and are NOT permitted.

Badges: Badges must be worn during workshops, meals and social hours. They must be in the possession of each gathering participant at all other times.

Smoking: only in designated areas. No smoking in cabins or any buildings or anywhere except designated areas!! Fire danger is very high.

Parking: Please park only on the upper level parking lots ONLY. The fire marshall has asked us to restrict parking in the lower part of camp. You must have either a handicapped placard or a CMEN placard indicating a CMEN staff person.

Photography: Still photography is allowed. Video cameras are not allowed (except for the official CMEN photographer.) Please do not take photos of those with “red dots”
If you are wearing a red dot, you may not take any pictures at any time.

Respect all members of our community for the week. Abusive behavior is never tolerated.

A nude gathering is not an open invitation to have sex. Open sexual activity is inappropriate and usually makes others feel uncomfortable. Hugs and friendly touching are OK; groping and erotic play are not. Overt sex is not allowed in the main camp areas, activity areas, etc. Enjoy the “across the river” area, play cabins for whatever you like. Also, in your cabins, we are all adults, so you determine your own respectful cabin rules. If you play, respectful sexual behavior is expected. Please play safely!

Please keep this week a safe and friendly space for all !!! Weapons, illegal drugs are prohibited at all times. Pets are not allowed. Private sales of any kind are prohibited during the Gathering, except at the General Store/Craft Fair, see schedule.

This gathering is operated and organized by volunteers, so please help wherever you can and PLEASE DON’T CREATE EXTRA WORK FOR OTHERS !! Respect all and keep our camp clean and beautiful !!!
